Young extreme weather observers

Research question

How can we learn from our mistakes, concerning environmental issues, document and forecast extreme weather conditions, so as to be able to protect out school and out community?

Identify the local environmental/climate problem you want to investigate

The local environmental/climate problems we would like to investigate, are floodings and wildfires. which result in corps damage, edforestation and animal extinction.

Describe how you plan to investigate the problem identified and which data you plan to analyse.

The methods of investigation to be followed are: on the spot observation and documantation of the results of such extreme weather instances, newspapers and other local perss files for the last few decades, interviews with people who have suffered from extreme climate phaenomena in our area, and cooperation with official agencies and institutions, such as the local Fire Department and the University of Patras.
