Air quality in cities compared to the countryside
Is the air quality in the countryside worse than in larger cities during the winter?
Is the air quality in the countryside better than in larger cities during the spring?
The quality of air in the countryside is worse because of the alternative fueling materials used to heat fireplaces at people’s homes. Our plan is to measure the quality of the air in larger cities and then the quality of the air in the countryside. We think that the quality of air in the countryside is better in the winter season
Air pollution
Using the air quality measuring device (ESP 32 and Raspberry Pi 4), we will be measuring the air pollution in the area where our school is located in our city because of its frequent traffic by sensors. Then we will measure it in the village and do the same thing. The result of our project will be an evaluation of our recorded measures and their comparison.
