Initially research was carried out on the use of asbestos historically, its chemical composition, the consequences of asbestos use on health and ecosystems and finally asbestos removal processes. Some entities were contacted, namely Quercus and the Municipality of Alcobaça. It was not possible to collect samples and process the subsequent data due to the impossibility of identifying the sites and having the respective access. Besides, it was not possible to perform analysis of the possible collections, since after the contact with some entities we did not have help in this sense, so we did not have the mechanisms to make the collection of samples.
Inicialmente realizou-se uma pesquisa sobre a utilização do amianto historicamente, a sua composição química, as consequências da utilização do amianto para a saúde e para os ecossistemas e por fim processos de remoção do amianto. Foram contactadas algumas entidades, nomeadamente a Quercus e a Câmara Municipal de Alcobaça. Não foi possível recolher amostras e tratar os dados subsequentes devido à impossibilidade de identificação dos locais e de ter o respetivo acesso. Além disso, não foi possível efetuar análise das possíveis recolhas, uma vez que após o contacto com algumas entidades não hoje ajuda neste sentido, por isso não tivemos os mecanismos para fazer a recolha das amostras.
