The hypothesis of the research consisted of analysing the effects that macro-farms have in the Valencian Community and how they affect the environment. The website https://www.nationalgeographic.com.es ‘ nature has helped us to find out what a macro-farm is and what impact it has on the environment. With the help of the website https://www.lavanguardia.com ‘ Society ‘ Universe JR) we were able to find out what greenhouse gases are produced by the animals on macro-farms, such as methane and carbon dioxide. La hipótesis de la investigación consistía en analizar los efectos que tienen las macrogranjas en la Comunidad Valenciana y como afectan al medio ambiente. Y la última pregunta que teníamos, la de cuánta población valenciana consume productos que provienen de las macrogranjas la hemos resuelto realizando una encuesta a nuestros compañeros de aula de nuestro centro educativo, que nos ha ayudado a saber lo que la gente conoce sobre este tema. Gracias a esta encuesta se ha podido observar que la mayoría de la gente no conoce lo que es una macrogranja y, por eso, tampoco saben si la carne que consumen proviene de ahí. Por esta razón nos hemos planteado varias opciones que ayuden a la gente a conocer este problema.

Con las investigaciones que hemos estado haciendo y las búsquedas por internet, así como la encuesta que hemos hecho para los compañeros de clase, hemos podido observar que la gente todavía no está del todo concienciada de lo que es una macrogranja y de su impacto en el medio ambiente. Es importante que la gente joven también lo conozca, ya que será la que influirá en un futuro.
Con los resultados de la encuesta, hemos podido ver que la mayoría de gente no saben lo que es una macrogranja, eso quiere decir que no saben de dónde proviene la carne que consumen. Esto, no es culpa suya, ya que cuando somos pequeños, no se nos habla sobre esto. Hemos podido ver que a la gente, le gustaría saber si la carne que consumen es de macrogranja. Aunque la mayoría de gente no está de acuerdo con la explotación animal, al no saber la procedencia de la carne que consumen, están fomentando esta explotación. Estas explotaciones son una fuente significativa de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, incluyendo metano y dióxido de carbono. Estas emisiones son una preocupación ambiental importante a causa de la contribución a el calentamiento global y al cambio climático.
We should improve people’s knowledge about this issue. For this purpose, we have made a poster to make people aware of the influence of large-scale farms on the environment so that they can have an idea of where the food they eat comes from and can decide whether or not to contribute to the environment. In this poster we can also propose ideas of foods that can be substituted for meat.
Deberíamos mejorar el conocimiento que tiene la gente sobre este tema. Para ello hemos realizado un cartel para mentalizar a la gente sobre la influencia de las macrogranjas en el medioambiente y de esta manera puedan tener una idea de dónde proceden los alimentos que consumen y puedan decidir si contribuir o no con el medioambiente. A su vez en este cartel también podemos proponer ideas de alimentos que puedan sustituirse por la carne.
