I and my students enthusiastically completed our activities on climate change and the impacts of rising sea levels. The children discovered the causes behind this phenomenon, such as melting ice caps and increasing ocean temperatures, as well as its consequences on coastal areas and biodiversity.
Through this experience, I heightened the awareness of my students regarding the importance of environmental protection and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Together, we researched actions we can take in our daily lives to contribute to reversing these trends.
The students were divided into smaller groups to conduct experiments and fill out worksheets. As they completed each activity, each group presented its results, sparking interesting dialogue and comparing outcomes with other groups.
