The students tackled a critical environmental issue: the link between healthy bee populations and overall biodiversity. They delved into satellite data from the OE browser to see how biodiversity in different regions changed over time. This analysis helped them understand the essential role bees play in maintaining biodiversity through pollination and the food chain.
Determined to spread awareness, the students got creative! They coded an engaging arcade-style game about the importance of bees using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. This user-friendly platform, with its drag-and-drop code blocks, allowed them to program the game without needing complex text-based coding.
But their project didn’t stop there! They also prepared a compelling presentation showcasing their journey using Canva for Education.
