Δραστηριότητα: Actions to mitigate Biodiversity loss as a consequence of Climate Change
2nd and 3rd Primary Schools of Nea Erythraia Αθήνα Ελλάδα
The students reflected on actions towards protecting biodiversity and mitigating the greenhouse effect. Firstly, they engaged in brainstorming, discussing on personal actions to address these pressing issues. Through investigation and discussion, various topics such as reducing energy consumption, promoting green environments, and supporting pollinators were explored. Each student contributed insights on practical ways to make a positive impact.
Next, the students transitioned to proposing solutions by completing the infographic map “What Can I Do” with their ideas. Crafting solutions allowed them to visualize and articulate actionable steps towards environmental stewardship. Presenting infographics to the class provided an opportunity for peer learning and inspiration.
Moreover, the dissemination of posters and infographics to the school community fostered awareness and encouraged collective action. This holistic approach enabled them to not only propose solutions but also evaluate teamwork and personal growth in advocating for the environment.
