The beautiful, yet terrifying picture of Binhai province, China shows the impeding Immediate, Global crisis that would be more dangerous for our dear planet, than any other threat. Beijing has been known to have a lot of pollution, many a times having rich and dense smog (smoke & fog), and the same is shown on a global scale by Mr. Alexander Gerst, being seen from space.

The Binhai province is populated by urban and sub urban regions, where, everything from transportation, Industrial waste to civil airborne waste collect to form a combination of Nitrogen Oxides, Sulphur Oxides, Carbon Oxides, Ozone and Particulate dust. These smog, ultimately lead to biological and ecological destruction, due to which, both people(especially those with chronic respiratory issues) and natural habitats(by making the environment toxic) are affected.

Thus pollution is no laughing matter, especially in Asian countries like China and India, which, being Newly Industrialised Countries(NICs) continue to have uncontrolled pollution rates that we must work upon reducing, lest it becoming a threat for earth. The decrease of pollution in china due to covid lockdowns, have shown that pollution is controllable with the right uproach, thus we must work upon stopping this problem.
